What’s not to love – it’s chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding with extra chocolate chips so it is filled with chocolate flavor. It can easily be made ahead of time and warmed right before serving.

Chocolate Dump Cake – The EASIEST chocolate cake recipe ever! Made by combining chocolate cake mix, butter, instant chocolate pudding, milk, and chocolate chips and baking until warm and gooey. So easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (6 ounce) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Sprinkle the chocolate cake mix followed by the pudding mix evenly into the bottom of a 9"x13" baking dish.
  3. Mix the melted butter and milk in a bowl and then pour over the dry mix.
  4. Lightly stir to mix up the large clumps of powder (it doesn't have to be fully mixed) before sprinkling chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out mostly clean with a few crumbs.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
