Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Queso Dip
It’s hard to believe it is already super bowl season! With all of the big games coming up, having go-to dip recipes is a must. This slow cooker salsa verde queso dip is my new favorite for this season. It is jam-packed with flavor and made with just 4 simple ingredients. Yes, 4 ingredients! Crazy, right?!
Something that I love about this recipe is that if you have a real big group over, you can double or triple it really easily. If you do so, I suggest using a large crock pot. For a single batch, I used a 2 quart slow cooker.
To make this delicious dip, you just pop the ingredients into a slow cooker on low for about 2-3 hours (or until the cheese melts together). Give it a stir and that’s it. I like to serve this dip with tortilla chips but most munchie foods are improved by dipping them in this crock pot of cheesy goodness.
When I serve this dip, I like to sprinkle a hand full of shredded pepper jack cheese and a bit of chopped cilantro on top. It gives it a nice pop of color but this step is completely optional.
This dip also reheats well! I just put the dip in a pot over medium heat and let it remelt for a few minutes the next day and it tasted just as delicious as it did before.

- 6 ounces pepper jack cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup salsa verde
- 1/2 cup white american cheese
- 1/4 cup milk (if it is too thick)
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until cheese has fully melted.
- Stir before serving. If the dip is too thick, add in milk. Make sure it is completely mixed in.
