White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Gather the ingredients - * Butter * Sugar * Egg * Vanilla extract * Flour * Baking soda * White chocolate chips * Macadamia nuts

Add the softened butter and granulated sugar to the bowl of a stand  mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.  Cream the butter and sugar  together until they are light and fluffy.

– Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the egg and vanilla extract.  Mix to combine. – Add the flour and baking soda, mixing until all of the dry ingredients are incorporated.

Add the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts and fold them into the cookie dough gently.

Scoop the dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls and place them at least 2" apart on the parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are starting to turn golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool completely before transferring them to an  airtight container.  Store at room temperature for up to five days.
