Strawberry Pop-Tarts

Gather the ingredients - * Strawberry jam * Pie crust * Egg * Powdered sugar * Milk

– Roll out the pie crust on a lightly floured surface until it is 1/4" thick. – Cut the pie crust into rectangles that are approximately 2" by 3".  You should be able to make 4 squares per pie crust.

Fill half of the rectangles with 3 tablespoons strawberry jam.  Then, place another rectangle on top.  Crimp the edges with a fork to seal them.

Brush the top of the pop-tarts with the egg wash and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

– Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the pies are golden brown around the edges. – To  make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk.  Dip the  cooled pop-tarts in the glaze and garnish with sprinkles.
