Snickerdoodle Cookies

Gather the ingredients - * Flour * Cream of tartar * Baking soda * Butter * Brown sugar * Granulated sugar * Eggs * Vanilla extract * Cinnamon

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until mixture turns pale and fluffy.

Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture in 2-3 additions, stirring well after each.

Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon for rolling together in a small  bowl, then using a cookie scoop or a spoon, drop 1 heaping tablespoon of  cookie dough into cinnamon sugar and roll around until fully coated.

Transfer the sugar coated cookie dough to the baking sheet, then bake in  preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly  golden.

Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5 minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
