Cranberry Trifle

No Bake Dessert

Gather the ingredients - * Pound cake * Cranberries * Water * Sugar * Cinnamon * Vanilla extract * Orange * Cream cheese * Heavy whipping cream

In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, cinnamon, water, orange zest,  and sugar.

Cook on medium heat for 12-15 minutes.  Transfer to a bowl  and chill.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and  vanilla extract until well combined.

Slowly add in heavy cream,  beating until soft peaks form.

Cut the cakes into 1 inch x 1 inch cubes and place half of the cake cubes at the bottom of the trifle dish.

Cover the pound cake with half of the cranberry sauce spreading it so it is even.

Top with half of the cream filling.

Repeat with the remaining cake, cranberry sauce, and cream filling.

Top with candied orange zest and sugared cranberries as garnish.

Keep chilled until ready to serve.
