During the summer, I am always looking for refreshing drinks to sip on during the evening while I am outside reading a book.  I just can’t resist a fun, colorful drink! When I discovered Sparkling Ice a few weeks back, I knew that these were going to be the new drink of choice for me! Now let’s talk about this cocktail I whipped up because dang, it’s good! I decided to take Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry to the next level and make it a cocktail! This recipe is super easy to make because it’s simply the Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry and white rum but really, that’s all it needs to be perfect and low calorie…. like, really low calorie.  It’s only 65 calories, crazy, right?!  Plus, Sparkling Ice is sparkling so they drink has a really nice fizz! Let’s be honest, everything is better with bubbles! It’s the perfect skinny summer cocktail to make for yourself or share with friends!

Tips and tricks on how to make a daiquiri

What is used to make a daiquiri?

To make a daiquiri, you combine the alcohol (usually rum) with fruits or fruit juices.  You can either serve a daiquiri chilled, over ice, or blended with ice.

How do you make a strawberry daiquiri?

To make a traditional strawberry daiquiri, you combine rum, lime juice, frozen strawberries, and sugar in a blender.  Blend until well combined.

What kind of alcohol is in a daiquiri?

The type of alcohol that is normally used in a daiquiri is rum.  You can either use spiced rum or white rum but for this recipe, I chose to use white rum because I thought it would fit the flavor profile the best.

Other tips and tricks on this strawberry kiwi daiquiri recipe

  • This can be turned into a blended drink! To do so, add 1 – 1 1/2 cups ice into a blender with the ingredients.  Blend until smooth.
  • If you aren’t a huge fan of rum, you can sub in vodka instead.

Strawberry Kiwi Daiquiri

  • 1 bottle Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry
  • 2 oz white rum
  • Ice

Garnish (optional)

  • Sliced kiwi
  • Sliced strawberries


  1. Place ice in two cups and then divide the Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry and white rum between the glasses.
  2. Garnish glasses with sliced kiwi and sliced strawberry (optional).

    I love Sparkling Ice and have used it to make a margarita. Now I can’t wait to try this Strawberry Kiwi Daiquiri cocktail! I think I’ll make a big batch and share it with the gals when we head to the beach!
