Peppermint Hot Chocolate – A quick and easy drink perfect for the holidays! Homemade hot chocolate with peppermint topped with sprinkles and whipped cream!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Welcome to #ChristmasSweetsWeek 2018! I am so excited to be sharing this peppermint hot chocolate recipe today! This recipe was the perfect way to show off some of the amazing items I was sent such as Sweets and Treats sprinkles, Joyjolt glasses, and Torani vanilla syrup.  Make sure to check out my other other Christmas recipes from Christmas Sweets Week this year – Fluffernutter Truffles and Ugly Sweater Cake!

This is such an easy recipe to make and you can even make it in a huge batch at once for holiday parties and events.  If you want to take it to the next level, make a batch of peppermint whipped cream to put on the top of the hot chocolate.  To make it, whip together 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract until there are hard peaks.
