Parmesan Pesto Breadsticks – Quick and easy 3 ingredient twisted breadsticks made with basil and shredded parmesan. The perfect side dish to go with pasta!
I had been planning on making these parmesan pesto breadsticks for so long and wow, I am so glad I finally got around to them! I made these quick and easy breadsticks covered in pesto and parmesan to go with a bowl of three cheese tortellini, topped with a fire-roasted marinara sauce and it was the perfect meal! It had been way too long since I had had a good bowl of pasta (okay, well, a week but I live on pasta so that is a long time). Personally, I believe that breadsticks go with any bowl of pasta and I know these will be a regular pairing now at my house!
Pesto is such an amazing addition to so many meals but I feel like I do not use it in recipes enough. One of my favorite uses of pesto is putting some on gnocchi, it is so delicious and really easy! I can’t wait to try making it myself soon, somehow, it’s something I have never delved into. I’ve seen so many wonderful variations of pesto like sundried tomato pesto and such that it has me excited to give it a go.
