Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 20 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter

For the Filling

  • 2 (4 ounce) packets instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Red food coloring (optional)
  • 1 (8 ounce) tub cool whip (divided)
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
  2. Add the butter and pulse again until mixed throughout.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9" pie dish, place into fridge while filling is prepared.
  4. In a large bowl, add the pudding packets, milk, and half-and-half and mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in the peppermint extract and a small amount of red color.
  6. Gently fold in 2 cups of whipped topping.
  7. Smooth the mixture into the prepared crust, then allow to chill for at least 4 hours.
