Mocha Ice Cream – An easy no-churn ice cream recipe that is dairy-free! Chocolate coffee ice cream perfect for dessert made with just 5 ingredients!

Ice cream is one of my favorite desserts.  I love how many flavors there are and how easy it is to make at home! I was really craving some ice cream the other night so I decided to make some.  The flavor I decided on was mocha and I wanted it to be a no-churn, dairy free recipe.  Now that may sound impossible but it was SO easy to make! All you have to do is pop all in the ingredients in a bowl together and beat them using a mixer before popping the ice cream in a pan to freeze.  Easy peasy, right?

To get everything I needed, I hopped over to my local Walmart.  There, I grabbed the five ingredients I needed to make the recipe – full fat coconut milk, instant espresso, cocoa powder, sweetener (I used sugar), and vanilla extract.  Additionally, I grabbed a can of Reddi-wip® Coconut Non-dairy whipped topping.  It sounded like the perfect thing to top my ice cream with! It has all of the Reddi-wip® goodness you know and love, but with none of the dairy and it also has no gluten, artificial flavors, or artificial sweeteners.  Indulge with this yummy vegan and gluten-free whipped topping that is made using coconut milk.  It is the ultimate way to take your favorite desserts to the next level.  Unleash the joy!

Something else I love about this recipe is it is vegan! It’s a fantastic treat to make and share with friends who are either vegan, dairy-free, or both! Some extra things you can add to it are a chocolate syrup swirl or chocolate chips, just make sure you buy dairy-free varieties!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans full fat coconut milk 13 oz
  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sweetener sugar, pure maple syrup, etc
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together all ingredients until thick and creamy.

  2. Transfer to a freezer-safe pan and cover with plastic wrap.  Place in freezer and freeze until firm (about 3 hours).

  3. Serve topped with Reddi-wip® Coconut Non-dairy whipped topping.

    I can’t believe how easy it is to make no-churn ice cream! What a delicious flavor too. I love mocha and I could eat the coconut Reddi Wip by the spoonful!
