What can I top these tarts with?

Ingredient Notes –
- I love a chocolate crust with this tart so I opted for oreos! Pulse whole oreos in a food processor until they are a fine crumb and then measure 2 cups.
- Butter helps the crust stay together after it’s baked. It also adds richness to the ganache filling.
- I’m using semi-sweet chocolate but any kind will work. Just make sure to use a good quality brand.
- Heavy cream thins the ganache so it’s not too thick. You must use heavy cream in this recipe– lower fat milks will not set!
- Fresh cherries are an important part of black forest tarts! Make sure to move the pits before adding the cherries to the ganache.
- I love to top these tarts with whipped cream but you could also top them with good quality cherry jam or preserves.
